I'd dump them. If they can't respect my interests or who I am as a person then I have no time to waste on them. Maturity comes from your ability to react to and handle situations, not whether or not you have a collection of figures. I'd say throwing away somebody's stuff because you don't like it is far more immature than owning figures and manga.
