New hero, "Red Sun"! The creation process of this hero is rather interesting.

"Red Sun" is a character created by Daisuke Komatsu, former "Rainbow Zoukei" member, Komatsu Daisuke.

Rainbow is best known for the suits that they make for both Kamen Rider and Super Sentai. Komatsu worked in the studio's Kaijin from Kamen Rider Faiz until Kamen Rider Kabuto.

Being busy with Zoukei work, he never got the chance to make what he truly wanted……until he met me.

A fan of western comics, Komatsu decided to make "Red Sun" in the vein of characters such as "Silver Samurai" of X-Men and "Katana" of Suicide Squad.

"The West's rendition of Japan has always been hilarious to me. I love it when their movies, comics, and videogames such as The Wolverine, Ninja Slayer, Showdown in Little Tokyo, Overwatch and American Ninja get our culture absolutely wrong by speaking in horrible Japanese or using random Kanji. Its all so wrong that its funny……and I can't get enough of it." (Laughs)
