Dragon Knight - Not to be confused with Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight obviously. Kamen Rider: Dragon Knight wishes it was Dragon Knight . This anime was very ecchi, but it was also surprisingly funny.

While this anime is far from perfect, this anime give me some great laughs. I thought it would be another bad forgettable anime. It end up being pretty funny. Takeru Yamato is very perverted and goofy much like Kintaro Oe from Golden Boy. You could say that this anime is like Golden Boy meets Dungeons and Dragons.

The other characters are not very developed and felt like that they are just there. Takeru pretty much steals the spot light from everyone in this anime. He always creates the best funny moments in the anime and I always laugh when he is one screen. I also enjoy the monster designs. I find it funny that we have a group of demons at the end of the anime that look like a mixed between Piccolo and Devilman .

The animation is pretty good for an anime that was release in 1991. Everything was decently animated. The soundtrack is alright. Nothing bad or good, just alright. The English voice acting is not bad, but it's far from being great. Doug Smith from Golden Boy voices Takeru Yamato and does a great job on the role. You also have Kimberly Yates voicing Luna and Tiffany Grant voicing Queen Neina. They both did a pretty good job in this anime. The other voice actors did an okay job I guess.

Overall Dragon Knight is a short and funny anime. This anime already has become a guilty pleasure of mine and I won't mind watching it again. If you want to watch a short funny anime, give this anime a watch. Be warn that this anime is not safe for work. Grade: C+
