This is my "how to".

DISCLAIMER: At the end of the day, everything is up to the Target you're speaking with. There is always a chance that no matter what you say or do, they will refuse to sell these prior to 07/31.

First, go to this site:

Select "Target stores". Use this DCPI: 087-06-4657

This will bring up a map with local stores (based on your zip code) that have received the Legacy figures. The "in stock" % is important - they will not show "in stock" until the figures have been "stocked" in the stock room.

Now that you have a list of Target stores you want to hit up, go to one of them. Find one of the "do it yourself scanners". Enter in the same DCPI (if they have the ones you can enter in yourself). It will show up the listing "Power Rangers Legacy", and it will say two things:

Stock Room:

99.9% of the time if you didn't see them on the floor, they're going to show "N/A" for sales floor. If your Target has taken these items off the pallet for the toy aisle reset scheduled for 07/31 and located them in their stock room, it will say "Stock Room: Yes". If they have not, it will show "Stock Room: N/A".

If it says N/A for stock room, it means that the pallet hasn't been broken down and those items, while in the stock room somewhere, have yet to be located in the inventory system (ie: they have to be assigned a shelf, etc., it's Target's inventory system). But if it says "YES", that means they have been assigned a place in the stock room and an associate will be able to find them immediately in the back.

What I did - went to a Target, discovered they were in stock room. Left, called the store, asked to speak to Toys. Got an associate, asked him to look up an item, he was able to, told me they weren't on floor but were in stock room. Asked me to hold while he located them. Asked me which one(s) I wanted, pulled them to guest services, and I purchased them there.

Again, this may not work for everyone but it worked for me and was 100% painless. BUT. They have to be in the stock room as "YES", if they are not, you are almost guaranteed NOT to get these figures.
