I'm ok with that. I have no familiarity with the fifteen series/shows that occurred before the one that was brought over as MMPR. That said, I would have also been ok with them just using the existing LW footage too...

There's nothing wrong with it. I just don't like the way they look, and prefer the way the Gokaiger one's look.

It's not necessarily a bad thing, but it's also not necessarily a good thing either. One thing I kinda wish they would do, is either change-up the Zords some, or maybe even make some original Zords for the US Power Ranger series.
