I love a lot of Metal Hero - Gavan and Juspion (especially Juspion!) being my faves.
I think Janperson alternates between inspired lunacy and horribly dull which makes for a rough watch, though when it's on it's so good!

Not a big 'Rescue Mission' fan, though I could stand to watch some more.

One show I'd lov to see more of that isn't strictly MH, but was considered as such is Blue Swat! The movie was pretty fantastic and the aliens were very weird. Apparently the first half of the series is like the movie: police driven sci-fi / horror with a side order of wacky Metal Hero action. When it was clear it was a bit too weird for the kids it was aimed at, they lightened the tone and added a robot hero to the team.

Sounds perfect!
