Yeah sorry Tri, you’re still boring and way too slow. The only thing which pushes the story as a whole forward is again the last 5 seconds of the latest episode.

I can understand why they want to portray Digimon a bit more mature but it’s not working for me. I honestly would’ve preferred this storyline in the style of the older shows, with more things happening each episode and some side plots. Yes I know its movies and not a weekly airing anime but come on. They waste so much time on depression and sadness and shit that I don’t feel like I’m watching Digimon anymore. Which is the total opposite of the slice of life stories we got last time, but it suffers from the same problems.

I don’t even know what they want to build up on anymore, but no matter what it is, I don't think the pay-off will be worth it.

You can tell me I do not understand the spirit of this or whatever, but from what I get this is supposed to be the nostalgia bomb for the now grown-up fans of the original series, I’m a now grown-up fan of the originals series and I think this sucks. I hate how they cramp the mega evolutions in there but it doesn’t matter. Like, HerculesKabuterimon does literally nothing worth noting; at least Vikemon and Rosemon kicked some ass.

And I do not feel the reboot thing, at all. Who else expects this is all for nothing and the current Digiworld they’re in is fake, including "their" Digimon partners?
