Other than a moderate focus on swords this really has nothing in common with Bleach.

About Urobuchi, I dunno. Although it is written by the Madoka Guy, I'm not sure how much that'd actually mean for the purpose of describing a thing, or at least this thing. The characterization was good, which is something. It didn't really have the kind of thing that people really associate with his writing though, like big complicated twists or Very Tragic Backstories, I feel. We didn't even find out the swords were people or anything. Nor does it really do the "starts out light then gets grimdark" thing either. And the number of characters who kicked the bucket was pretty reasonable, so no Urobutcher memes in here either.

It is a story kind of about swords written by Urobuchi, but as far as that being a good laconic descriptor I'm not so sure.
