Don't exaggerate. The vast majority of the CG looked just fine in this movie. I felt that a lot of the time, he looked just as good as a rubber suit would have, to the point where I can hardly believe that they supposedly cut every single shot of the original suit from the movie entirely. It was just a few scenes like (the only good example that comes to mind at the moment) when he throws his body around whilst firing atomic breath to cut through the city. It's only sequences like THAT which took me out of things. Otherwise, the effects were perfectly acceptable.
