[Phantom Stranger]

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved seeing Bunglay actively fuck with Yamato once more. I think it's great how it's been different every time but with the same running theme of destroy what he loves. Also good on him for actually taking their damn changers away, too many sentai villains don't do that.
Was a shame to finally see him go out since he was the most interesting villain on the show. (Also kind of a lack luster attack to take him out.)
Although I am also interested in seeing where Cubar goes. I'm hoping Ginis is heading somewhere too, since it seems like he has something planned.

Still love the continuing trend of being united playing a strong role in the show, it's episodes like this that make me really appreciate the cast. Even though this was still really an episode mainly all about Yamato.

Wild Tousai Dodeka King looks like ass. I'm not even going to sugar coat it. This (along with Wild Tousai King) is one of if not the the laziest damn design I've ever seen for a combining robot. I've talked about this before, but to me the ideal to strive for when doing a combining robot is to have the various individual components still be visible, but changed enough to create something different. This throws that right out the goddamn window and puts a torso on blocks. Damn thing doesn't even have proper feet.

Watch TCM like I do. They've been really great this year, much better than last. Horror on Friday with a different theme each week, Frankenstein on Sunday, and movies with Christopher Lee on Monday.
