Much like how Kamen Rider belts are constantly trying to become more interactive (for better or worse) I'd like to think this would continue the trend and actually do something worthwhile.

This definitely feels like a miniaturized version of the cheaper legend rider belt toys from a while back but just the buckle.
I assume the people who made this particular toy looked into those for inspiration somewhat.
As long as this is not on par with the prices of typical sentai role play toys I would say it gets the job done from the looks of it so far.
The lever sticks out like a sore thumb but that's just me.
