Hey, when did these giant robots become angels?

Like, does no-one else see that this thing is blatantly trying to be a giant angel? It's got the wings 'n armor 'n wotnot.

And I legitimately do not see how this is going to transform, by the way. It's got nothing in the way of kibble. You don't even have the animal heads sticking off somewhere.
But I do know that it is another totem-pole-robo. It has a pink head, read shoulders, yellow belly (now that's blatant!), black waist/thighs, and blue shins and feet. Stack it up, knock it down.

I think it's a cool design, but I'm not feeling the giant robot in this. You expect something kind of blocky with your giant robots. Something where the shins are like a third of the total height and can suck the thighs into them without problem, there is a serious case of the shoulder pads, and the head is itsy-bitsy. This guy is like they rammed Ultraman and Neon Genesis Evangelion together. It don't feel much robot, more like a guy in a mesh suit or a flat-out angel.
