Honestly, the combining of the zords is one of my favorite aspects of the franchise.. The fact that I could differentiate the zords when combined is one of the coolest features. But here they've just totally gotten rid of that.

It's just another robot with trillions of shards of metal morphing into a shape that holds no bearing on what it had been before. It's just over complicated for the sake of being over complicated.

Anyways. The only thing I like about this design for a megazord is the head.. Everything else just looks like generic garbage. I mentioned this on another forum, but it looks like ton of paper clips being picked up with a magnet.

I disagree on the garbage part. If this had been pitched as something other than THE megazord, I doubt anybody would seriously hate it. Not necessarily liked, but... it looks cool, just not like what it should be.
