Kids these days have the Internet to look up things easier compare to most of us when growing up. When MMPR was airing, the Internet was a brand new thing and not everyone had it. Not to mention most of us where still young kids and didn't know to how use the Internet.

Now kids have smart phones and faster speed Internet, so their parents or themselves can look up when new episodes would air soon. The breaks are not that bad since other shows go on a break. Saban and Bandai also want to introduce new zords around the fall season, so kids can have toys to ask for on Christmas.
