Now kids have smart phones and faster speed Internet, so their parents or themselves can look up when new episodes would air soon. The breaks are not that bad since other shows go on a break. Saban and Bandai also want to introduce new zords around the fall season, so kids can have toys to ask for on Christmas.

Early '90s Internet was new and different, but remember that MMPR was on Fox, which wasn't cable/satellite, and things like TV Guides in the newspaper were still common and read constantly.

Looking for new episodes might be easier, but whether their parents have the cable/satellite provider which HAS Nickelodeon. I had DirecTV come and do a hook-up when the local cable provider dropped Viacom, and Nickelodeon by default. The problem with the show breaks of modernity is because many shows go on separate breaks and when one show goes on hiatus, another takes its place, which confuses some parents who knew of a time when everything went on break. Also, one should not assume everyone has or uses the Internet as frequently as believed! Many parents use their kids for such concerns because they simply cannot understand the widespread technological innovations made in the last several decades!
