I'm really curious to see if they try at all to explain the mishmash of zords in Ninja Steel. As far as I remember, Ninninger threw in some lines about the grandpa meeting aliens and reverse-enginering the other Otomonin from UFOmaru. But I don't remember him ever saying why he thought it was cool to make a dump truck. (talking about the in-canon show reasons, not the toy designer's reasons).

Being that this deals with a space alien and his TV show, I'm guessing Ninja Steel might use the same 'reverse-engineered' line. But will they actually try to explain why there is no ninja theme to the zords created from ninja steel?

EDIT - Don't get me wrong. Personally, I LOVE the idea of mishmash zords. But I think the concept would be better suited to an anniversary show with mishmash rangers returning from previous seasons; each of them getting new 'upgraded' powers but retaining their previous themed zords.
