Yeah, it's a polarizing show. I think the cartoony designs are just too goofy for some viewers and that makes the typical storyline (stripped of it's wacky elements, Ex-Aid is a mishmash of earlier shows - at least so far) perhaps easier to recognize and dismiss. My other oldtaku pal isn't outright "I hate it!" but the silliness is a hurdle.

Was it just me, or did Emu's voice get overdubbed for added "otherness" during that scene?
