The franchise is now in the after-movie hype fatigue and doesn't know what it wants to do with itself so instead of doing cool new things or giving us new designs and imaginative re-designs of old characters like it used to do before the Baypocalypse we are stuck now with just bare-boned G1 toys with maybe a few elbows here and there. You want a new Beast Wars charater? An original IDW character? A cool new design? Fat chance here have some more G1 toys with an extra elbow and a gimmick.

This is the same that will happen to Rangers after the movie hype dies down if there even if one. Do you think that there is going to be Legacy Space or Turbo zords? Lol no after the movie aesthetic gets boring it'll be back to basic with more original Megazords and maybe new Thunderzords.

Because that's all this franchise has become and will continue to be. A constant rehash of Mighty Morphin because nostalgia.
