Indeed. Although when Yamato showed up to the fight still going "ORE WA!!!", I couldn't help but wonder how many dozens of times he must've been shouting that on the way there. Like, jeez, Yamato, just finish the sentence already!

I still maintain Zyuohger is at least as Red-centric as the shows before it people complain about due to nearly every single plot thread revolving around Yamato, so that was indeed a great moment.

You mean the new Cube guys? Considering they've been building them up for months now, it seems like as much of a narrative payoff (there's that word again!) as it is an ad.

Eh, I'm fine with it. If they made this plot longer, it would've run the risk of getting boring and stagnant like Bunglay did after a while. A couple more episodes might've been nice, admittedly, but I trust Zyuohger's writing decisions at this point. If they only made this go for two episodes, it was probably because they only had two episodes worth of story for it.

Also, speaking of writing decisions, I totally forgot about Cube Whale's little freak out. How long ago did that happen? Zyuohger keeps blindsiding me with all this foreshadowing and setup and now I wish I had paid more attention.
