Props to Ex-Aid for not only giving us a great episode after, imo, its first weaker entry of the series last week, but also giving us a great episode out of a common toku trope.
Burgemon's death was similar to Medic killing the good Roidmude in Drive to me, though perhaps moreso because the character was definitely more like Kubi in Ghost, a recognizable design rather than a generic design only it's a good guy. I did think he'd end up being a supporting character which just makes his destruction more surprising.
JuJu Burger is a surprisingly fun form. The roller blades just make it work and helps gives the fight scenes more flavor.
As for Parado's reaction to Dan killing Burgemon, I think it makes sense. As stated, all the previous Bugster deaths at his and Dan's hands had been for reasons. Graphite was power-hungry and didn't play by the rules. Last week's Bugster attacked him, again not playing by the rules. That's the sort of theme Parado follows. If the rules of the game aren't fairly followed, he'll dispose of the problem. In this case, Burgemon was a meaningless kill that Dan followed through because Bugsters mean nothing to him other than being fuel for his ambitions and as punishment for the creation of JuJu Burger without his knowledge. Being a Bugster himself, it makes sense for Parado to suddenly be weary of Dan if he'd go out of his way to kill a Bugster that literally posed no threat to him.
