I just grabbed the raw and I have to say that I'm pretty jazzed. Stream of consciousness impressions:

Visually, the OP and ED are nice, but I don't like either of the songs. Pink still looks awful, like dollar store cosplay. I'm not sold on Blue's normal mode yet, either. Black looks pretty good, though. If I had to rate the team right now (at least those who transformed), it'd be Green, Black, Yellow, Red, Blue. It's a toss-up, really, between Red and Blue. Granted, it's the first episode, but they're already a bit annoying. That's about all the negative stuff, well, the mooks look like they're wearing track suits.

As for the good stuff, the suits look awesome. The henshin sequences are gorgeous, as is the space stuff. A lot of it looks painted and, for the budget, it's darned impressive. I absolutely loved the Robo scenes. The merge, the cockpits, the ice battle. Holy crap. I freaking adored it all. I hate being overextended this month because I need the DX Robo toys. Need. Badly.

I know it's early days yet, but I'm kind of sold on this one. It's nice to be this excited for something in SHT again. Don't get me wrong, Zyuohger grew on me, but I wasn't crazy hyped for it like I am this.



Edit: I did like how Red not only rode a meteor in, but the way they shot his thumbs up, it seemed very Meteor-like. Deliberate homage or not, I was entertained.
