[Gold Ninja Drive]

I'm honestly not sure what to think about this first episode. On the one hand I love it because it's hilarious and over-the-top, but at the same time I have to echo the sentiment that it's a little too crazy at points. I like the characters and the action was fun, Garu was pretty interesting if a bit rushed, but... Lucky makes me nervous.

Again, he has the possibility for hilarity (see: out of nowhere wave), and the whole meteor shower thing I thought was brilliant, but every time something good/bad happens to him I can't help but think about the possibilities for later episodes. I mean, they literally gave him the power of Deus Ex Machina. Anything can happen from this point onwards, from getting him killed by triple lightning strike to giving him god-mode, and I don't think the writers are going to kill off a red ranger any time in the next decade.
