It's only when they're first summoned from the extra deck that they have to go to a Linked zone. After that they're like every other monster.

No idea on Links for Lunalights, they've only unveiled like 4 so far and none of them really jump out as a good option. I'd just wait to see if they make a retrain of Witch's Apprentice and grab that, assuming they have the same Links.

Of course, Lunalights aren't really about spamming multiple fusions as they are just building their kind of nuts boss monsters. You probably could get away with just the one decently enough, especially considering everyone else is also getting slowed down by this.
