I originally asked this question because this is the type of thing i was wondering.... I totally support purchasing the dvds. I will be purchasing them in the future now that i know they exist. That being said, I do not like translations for shows like this that try to retain their Japanesness. I prefer a little English flavor so that it makes more sense to me. The honorifics etc are not important to me at all in this case. However, when they are important to a character and the integrity of the show, like Lone wolf and cub, I agree withTokumonkey. Most historical era shows I watch I want the honorifics and "untranslatable" words left Japanese. But with Toku, no. It is just a bunch of silly fun action.
