The initial press info said that they were filming in new locations this year to facilitate the use of alien settings. That sort of thing can be expensive and I'm just hoping being on earth is only an arc and not a permanent thing.

There was actually another space show, Juspion, a Metal Hero, that did planet hopping for its first four episodes before settling on Earth for the rest of the show. It sorta works there, but I'm not super thrilled about it here. Earth being some hidden gem out in the middle of nowhere kinda bugs me - you have an entire universe you can use instead. I'd be fine if maybe the final arc was related to Earth, but I think it's way too early to ground them.

Given how many generals are here, I can easily see the show on earth until at least the 30s when the team gets its final robot. I'm not super thrilled about that. I mean, yeah, Kyuranger is a great show right now and can easily continue to be, but I think it'll be something that's gonna bug me for years if we never head back to space.
