Well, look at it like this.
-Lucky and Garu's introductions could've been split, giving them (Garu especially), more time to really cement their character beyond basic traits.
-Hammy wouldn't be left so basic and bland as the series rushes to explain everything.
-Champ's backstory with his doctor could've been set up a little earlier. It could've established Stinger before his proper debut as well. It would give them a little history and the audience would get to know more about Champ.
-Spada would be able to do stuff.

So far, the only characters that have really gotten a chance to spread their wings and develop over the course of these 5 episodes were Lucky and Raptor (Of all characters). Everyone else had their limelight episode (Sans Hammy) where we got a little on their history (Or, in Spada's case, his protective tendencies with Raptor), and then they become a set piece.

I know I'm judging things over 5 episodes, but things would've been so smoother and better paced if they held off on 4 of the rangers' introductions.
