Watched the Ghost summer movie and it was alright. No Surprise Future, but better than Great Soccer Battle. Maybe a bit better than the Wizard movie?

I liked the setting and Dark Ghost, although all the stuff with Makoto's dad was waaaay too underdeveloped. That's the kind of stuff that should have been in the show, or at least developed more than just the "hey we have a summer movie coming up" snippets we did get.

Ex-Aid cameo was fun, especially since I'd forgotten it was happening. Cool to see all the "hit" bubbles done with a different font.

Ending was a little weird, but it didn't really change the way I feel about the film as a whole. The actual fight scene looked fantastic so there was that.

I think the biggest problem with this film is that it had so much that would have worked so much better in the series itself. But is that a fault of the movie or the series?
