What really helps is that he is an Osakan head-to-toe so he has the Kansai dialect on point as demonstrated 10 years ago in Den-O as Kintaros. Heck, he is a proud Hanshin Tigers fan so must be legit.
Kinda off topic but for those not familiar Hanshin Tigers is one of Japan's prominent pro baseball teams who are rivals with the Yomiuri Giants.
It is almost on par with in toku-layman's terms Gaim VS Baron, Kabuto VS Gatack, Bouken Red VS Bouken Black, Geki Red vs Rio, Chase VS Mach, etc. You get the idea.
