Honestly? I wouldn't. I'm not a profesional TV writter and the franchise is too big of a thing from my childhood for me to reliably be responsable for it's future. What I would do is go out and hire the people responsible for the new movie's story. They actually know WTF they're doing.

Though barring that, if I had any control over the future of the PR franchise, I would end the show aspect of it ASAP. As-is it's not worth continuing with the people who currently work at Saban. Maybe even sell it off to Lionsgate, since they seem to have a handle on things.
