It would be tough for any of us to step by step guide you on how to do this. Maybe someone is willing take there's apart and put up some pictures but that's asking a lot from someone just so you don't have to risk breaking your toy. If you really want to fix it you're going to have to take the initiative and tear into it and see what happens. If you decide to it's at your own risk but here is a few pointers.

Have a clear clean space that you know people won't mess with it and it won't have to be moved.

Get some containers or a magnetic tray to keep all the screws organised and safe from being lost.

Take it slow.

Take pictures if it will help you remember how to put it back together.

Remove the batteries, it's safer for the toy and there might be a hidden screw in the compartment.
