Anyways, saw the movie yesterday finally, really really enjoyed it. It had some nice references, well written and interesting characters, a few really good performances, a great villain, it was just a lot of fun. It did a great job of "maturing" the series in a way that was honest and not insulting. It handled things like Billy's autism and Trini's lesbianism incredibly well (they felt more natural, less shoe-horned). It was way more of a character driven story, which was a very nice change of pace.

That's a relief.

From what I've read though they turned Jason into kind of a jerk not sure if I like that.
