One thing to consider about Ohranger though, is that to their defense the show fell victim to a series of unfortunate and unforeseeable domestic tragedies in 1995. This made it hard for them to move forward with their original direction making huge shifts in tone and last-minute adjustments, etc. to avoid negativity. Of course, this does not mean them maintaining the original vision would have equaled better ratings and success, but it is something to consider(the show might not have been perfect, but they did SUPER WELL in merch sales so I guess not all was lost

).

Moving on, Kobayashi to me is the best still and Arakawa is a genius for writing episode 28 of Carranger.
