Watched the first episode and I'm....half impressed? I kinda liked it, didn't really think much of any of the characters yet but there's a lot of story groundwork that I really enjoyed.

While it's clear that the writers are going for a kind of parallel between season 1's Extermination Squad and Team X, it doesn't really change that they aren't all that likeable or fun to watch. Not really much to say on Chihiro yet as while Iyu is quite cool, she's so painfully cliche I thought I was watching anime for a second.

Not a fan of Neo's henshin either. I mean it looks cool but it's so distracting I'm suspicious that it's going to be intentionally used to obscure fights. Also no wonder Overtime didn't want to sub the belt, damn thing is completely unintelligible
