Like I understand why people aren't too happy with this at all, but I feel like it's being overblown when other stories have done this sort of thing as well. Not to mention that we don't know if there's any sort of side-effect or limit to using the Saiko Kyutama. Like is there a time limit that forces it to be used only once per mission? Or does it need some time to recharge before being used again? Or does it strain Lucky's body whenever he uses it?

Hell, I'd say that there's a good in-story reason for why to use it: If they're divided into teams on different missions/are not chosen for that specific mission, Lucky could use the Saiko Kyutama to utilize the powers of the members that aren't there in case the need arises.
