Holy crap, yeah. I recently saw some design art for the Amazons, and I thought Mamoru's was just some old concept that got thrown out because it wasn't just a mass of gray:



But look at that, I guess he isn't monochrome after all. Looking at some other pictures there are of him I guess I could have noticed this earlier, but it really doesn't come across in the show very well. That filter gets heavy.


(i doubt it will happen, but now that i think about it bandai could totally release "filter versions" of the amazons figuarts that actually look like they do in the show. wonder how that'd sell...)
