Jet Mode is something you wouldn't expect from a solid "brick" like DaiDenjin! The "nosecone" is the only genuine vehicle portion, and transformation sequence is rather simple and lackluster. Still, you wouldn't expect that Jet to house a head with spikes on it! It isn't the most stellar Mecha, and did get a little gruesome by cutting the Monster's head off in Ep. 1, which you probably won't see in Modern Sentai! There is something to be said about a series that can go for some 50 episodes, show the Mecha virtually every episode, and have no Secondary or Power-up support! The Joys and Downfalls of Classic Sentai!

Looking back now I forgot about the Jet mode.
For a robot using three primary colors it does a good job.
As for the Battle Fever Robo I guess they were thinking more of the Mazinger-esque robots.
