Now that I think of it, Ex-Aid is quite smart as social commentary - it's an allegory of how modern life can kill us with stress and how trying to use amusements such as video games to distract ourselves from it may prove to be just as dangerous for our mental health. It's also much subtler in that regard than Gaim, which really liked to drive its point home with pretentious philosophizing .
