Usually they should be pretty similar. They're both high-end BOJ products, and generally BOJ's bag is to make their collector things super-articulated, even combining ones. Chogokins are no exception, and even the SOC Voltron featured a few tricks to give it above-average articulation like retracting double elbows.

It's kinda disappointing that BOJ didn't give the SOC Megazord better articulation given that's kinda the point of these high-end, expensive collectibles. You're basically paying for the finish of it otherwise which is nice, but not really enough to satisfy the price tag.
