I wouldn't entirely say it's resolved yet. I mean Champ definately has a bit more respect for Stinger but there's still cleary some tension between the two especially in that last scene where Stinger ignored his roll call.

I will say this episode did definately showcase something that I hope Kyuranger takes advantage of, that being the various different relationships and personality exchanges. With so many unique characters and personalities, there's potential for a wide variety of character interactions which this episode showcase with Stinger's interaction with Kotaro and Champ.
