It's not just one single episode you dip
The first season was great, I was drawn into the cheesy and lighthearted nature of the show, which stuck out as I couldn't believe there was a DC thing which wasn't necessarily for kids without ANGSTANGSTANGSTEDGEDGEDGE
Season 2 became darker and edgier, which I wasn't happy with. It got us Harry though, and it was still enjoyable in it's own right
Season 3 so far has been a goddamn letdown. They promoted the whole Flashpoint thing, solved in an episode. Turns out, there's this new fuck up because Barry stuck his dick in the speedforce and Cisco is constantly bitter, nothing like the character I ended up liking the most. "Oh, but he stopped being a bitter asshole during the alien thing" Yeah, the crossover with 3 shows I don't watch, not to mention Cisco apparently jeopardized the entire operation JUST to spite Barry. Then there's how Wally was treated! They kept going "Stay! No being a Speedster or you sleep outside!" even though everyone watching the show up to this point would scream "Wally's got reasons to want to be a Speedster and you're making him feel like shit!" Then Savitar hijacks the plot, and only NOW do we know who he is. Near the end of the season, which was a problem I had with the first 2 seasons, but it's like they deliberately made the mystery Savitar's identity drag on even longer for tradition! And then there's Caitlin's whole "Oh no I don't WANT to become Killer Frost" and she becomes evil because reasons.

And if you want last week's criticism, here it is. The entire episode happened because the cast is filled with fucking morons. "Hey guys, if Savitar's gonna find out due to Barry, let's not tell Barry our plan!" "Fuck that, make him unable to remember new things which we never tried before so we can majorly fuck up, and even if we're successful, Barry not being able to remember anything new from this point would be damaging to his job at the police department and life as a whole"
Not to mention it took a drop of sweat to break those glasses in the courthouse. Really? You're telling me that a group of scientists who made the Cold gun, a cell Metahumans can't escape from and MORE are too stupid to think "Hey, people sweat when under pressure in a courthouse, and Barry doesn't remember anything, so he'll likely sweat buckets, let's fix that!"

EDIT: Oh, and because season 3 is just the first 2 seasons but without what made those so enjoyable but rather constant drama, I predict they'll kill Julian during the final episode like how important characters had to die in season 2 to keep the new tradition. And Flashpoint gets undone after beating Savitar meaning Julian will never have existed and this whole season has been nothing but a waste of time for all of us!
