And I so do am not convinced by this Iyu being a Real Girl thing. Even if she somehow is, just kinda stopped caring at some point if it would happen.

Also still unconvinced by Hiroki's attitude change. Guy went from adamantly anti-Amazon - and with good reason too after his friend got turned and the other eaten - but now wants to save Chihiro and Iyu. The former being an absolute monster who has killed many people and eaten his mother. Iyu I guess I could kind of understand since he knew her before and hates seeing this happen to her, but Chihiro I expected him to turn on.

Maybe his desire to protect the closest things he has to friends is overriding his desire to kill the Amazons? He isn't close to his parents, Shido and the rest of the team have their own problems and don't really have the time to pay him any mind, and all of his other friends are dead. Besides Chihiro and Iyu, who does he have left?
