• This episode was pretty good but I think it could of been better if it maybe happened a little later or if some things were developed a bit more. A lot of the scenes in this episode were really good but their emotional punch relies on the show's pre-established relationships and how they were set up, some of which were good and others which I think are a little lacking.

• Kotaro was really great in this episode but I think he was hit with both cases of what I mentioned earlier. The stuff with him and Stinger was great. It was a relationship that was built up a lot since Kotaro introduction and thus the scenes between him and Stinger were pretty effective. The other stuff with him though were a little lacking, most specifically his confrontation with Scorpio who I'm pretty this is his first time meeting. I mean the scenes when taken out of context were really good, I just think they could've maybe had a bit more set up to them.

• Stinger is also a case where I think a lot if his scenes, specifically the ones regarding Champ could be more effective had we maybe seen them interact more before this.

• Lucky was pretty great in this episode. Granted he's been pretty good in the last few episodes and I think they had some of his best scenes since his introduction. Although the way he's been characterized lately feels like set up for a future story, maybe one regarding some other red ranger that might be showing up sooner or later.
