On a different track though, what the fuck does Araki have against dogs? I lost track of how many of them were brutalized over the course of the show. I mean, I guess the series started with Dio burning one alive and so maybe I should have seen it coming, but, my god.

You'll probably enjoy Part 4 DIU as it is a huge fan favourite part.

On the note of Araki and dogs, Araki has nothing personal against dogs, it's just that he wants readers/viewers to hate the antagonists so he has them kill dogs. He's even stated in an interview that his least favourite characters are people he purposely tries to draw as unpleasant and he uses Vanilla Ice and what he does to Iggy as an example, stating he felt legitimately sick when drawing the former.
