The Story (SPOILERS)

A group of self-proclaimed Angels (all sharing the name of intelligent advisors from the age of the Three Kingdoms in Chinese lore) travel to the realm of Earth and give Hero Icons to individuals who have immense "Hero Power" and share a name with an "ancient mythological hero during the time of creation". An Angel woman by the name of Xu Shu happens to visit Earth and runs in to some trouble when she doesn't pay for some clothing. She is saved by a young, eager man who makes more of a fool of himself than anything as he tries to show off his non-existent martial arts skill. After she is saved by him (he ends up paying for the dresses), he identifies himself to her as Liu Bei. Recognizing the name as an ancient Warlord, she chases him down and gives him the Guan Yu Hero Icon and Changer.

In time, Liu Bei realizes exactly what he's part of - the Dream Battle - where these warlords battle with their hero icons. The winner will have their dream made reality and their Hero Icons turned in to humans. The losers will lose all memory of their time as a warlord, but their wish will also NEVER come true, and the Hero Icons turned to stone as they perish.
