Unless you are able to jump through the iTunes loopholes by buying Japanese iTunes currency cards or something (I have no idea how that even works, sorry), importing physical CD's is the way to go. JapanCD is a good place to start, I bought from them in the past, they're legit.

Also, regarding this topic, I find it infuriating that I can't just buy this stuff online. If I could buy Geed's theme song for the 200 Yen iTunes ask just by using my PayPal account I would do it. Not being able to sucks so much.
