I agree that they could have played the mutiny story line for a lot longer than they did. It felt like a story arc that got sped up due to some kind of meddling behind the scenes, but that's just me.

Still, I think the outcome would have played out the same. I think my personal problem is that it raises questions about free will that I'm pretty sure at the point I'm at will never be explored again.
