Just wrapped up Diamond is Unbreakable. In short, I loved it. It appears that the recurring pattern of my enjoyment of JoJo increasing exponentially with every subsequent part will continue unabated. The downside there being that like everyone else I'm now left to wait impatiently for the next part. Which should be fun, once and if it gets here.

But yeah, Diamond is Unbreakable was fun. It was in many ways nothing like what I was expecting out of JoJo's Bizarre Adventures, and I find that to be regrettable in some ways, but the fact that I enjoyed it as much as I did regardless speaks for itself.

Not having spoilers compared to the earlier parts also definitely helped. I had a few details here and there, but nothing big, up until I foolishly learned about the thing with Shigechi a couple of episodes before I got to it. But that came and went quickly, and after that it was just blindly taking me along for a pretty wild ride. It was really Great.

(that last opening is also probably my favorite of the whole series thus far. really damn great)
