Black RX actually improves as it goes along. The first several episodes are a little goofy, what with the bumbling cop and wacky domestic abuse shenanigans, but it eventually finds its footing and has some really great moments. The plot arc with the Crisis princess, for example, or the final arc at the end of the series. It's a show that has gotten a bad rap for a long time but I really feel that it doesn't deserve the reputation it has.
