You switched between present tense and past tense very frequently - I understand that may not be your fault, especially if English isn't your first language (I have no way of knowing, and nor does it affect how I treat people), but you said 'my hangups ARE the following' and 'recent news INDICATES' - in the first case implying that you still either have trouble believing, or at least accepting, that it is canon, and in the latter implying you were still unsure about it; in fact, far from being clear that you acknowledged that it was canon and were explaining why you didn't used to, it sounded more like you were on the fence about whether to believe it or not (and that you'd ignore it if it wasn't canon in just the right way for you). Which is why I clarified it. The first point you raise also states 'just because it's called the 'True Ending' doesn't mean it is' (which is fair - I too seem to recall something being called that, but being non-canon), which, given the tone of the rest of your post really sounds like blind denial.

The main reason I responded at all was the bit in the middle that started with 'it'd annoy me if they did that', when...why would that matter? If they do it, its done, and no amount of 'but it pisses me off' will change it. I realize that that was little more than a footnote to your overall point, but I've seen far too many people lately claiming still that it isn't canon...even though it explicitly is (a few months ago yeah, it was still highly ambiguous, but that is no longer the case) for mostly that reason, so I may have been a little shorter in my response than I meant to be, and if that was the case, I apologize most profoundly.
