Masamune is probably up there for villains. He's infuriatingly ruthless and relentless and the show has done a great job of making me absolutely hate this guy.

Poppy is probably in the top five for comic relief characters for me, too. On paper I should absolutely hate this character, but the actress does such a good job of putting real heart into the performance that I've been really won over by her.

I'd have to think about it, but the theme song may be up there in the top five, too. The period where the show skipped the opening credits and used it as an insert song really sold me on it (the Ghost/Ex-Aid Movie War did a good job of highlighting how not every Rider theme can work like that).

Story is another one I'd have to think about. I've really liked the overall story of Ex-Aid, but I'd have to really examine how well it stacks up against some of the all-time greats like Blade or Hibiki.

There are a lot of things that I wouldn't rank that highly about the show, though. I've been on-record numerous times slamming the suit designs, for example, and I don't know if many of the characters rise above similar characters from other shows. On the whole, I think Ex-Aid has probably cracked my top five series list, but it's mostly as a combination of its parts.
